    Outdated rooms need refurbishment to modern standards!!! Noise from the street can be disruptive, especially for light sleepers!!! Inconsistent air conditioning made evenings uncomfortable at times!!!

    Excellent restaurant, interesting mood-setting architecture, quirky but friendly and useful concierges. Appreciated the upgrade of junior suite to apartment, but friend's deluxe classic was cramped and only ok.

    The hallway outside of my room in the front section was weirdly smelly especially later in the day (probably reflecting something genuine old- world about the hotel, but if it had permeated the room we would've had to check out or ask if it was different in the back section). Note: I booked 2 rooms, one was a junior suite upgraded to apartment; the other was the Deluxe Classic - as indicated at the end of this survey - which was cramped and described by friend as only "ok".

    Had a fabulous time in Lyon. Concierge were the best we have ever had. Even managed to get me an urgent dental appointment (which is very difficult in France) The pool was a wonderful surprise. Beautiful room. Cherries provided were a nice touch. Highly recommended. Fabulous decor.

    The staff at this hotel was amazing, especially the concierge who was full of information, so very engaging, and never seemed bothered by innumerable questions. Okay, that was his job, but he was so good at it. This hotel was uniquely designed and so very quiet and private.

    I must say that, since the breakfast was not included in the price of the hotel, I would have appreciated having options for breakfast, instead of a very expensive buffet which we did not have time to fully enjoy. Also, though it seems like a small thing, it amazed me that there was no coffee or tea available as a service. We just wanted a quick coffee before going to the airport and were charged twelve euros. Though the spa, sauna, and pool were included, anything connected with food was additional.

    The hotel personnel are extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The hotel seems very well managed. The hotel itself is unique and beautiful. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and modern. The pool, sauna, and steam room are also excellent. The breakfast is excellent also. In short, just a wonderful hotel in every way. We ate in their Cafe twice and both times have outstanding food and service.

    We loved the unique Atelier suite perfect for our large family! It was spacious enough for everyone, with a quirky layout that hit like an artist's workshop. The kids enjoyed exploring the fascinating courtyard and the excellent gardens on the hotel's upper levels.

    In my wife's opinion, better soundproofing would be great for families.

    I think the hotel was wonderful, would come here again. Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed spa centre. The setting was quite great and incredible within easy reach of Vieux Lyon.

    Wonderful welcome from the staff. Helpful concierge and very professional. Nice architecture of the main hall. Location in Lyon.

    Work being done in the hall, not nice. Very hot corridors, no air conditioning. The room was dusty. A shower cap was left in the bathroom by previous visitors and not removed (!). The room was small and dark. The hotel should not be rated a 4-star hotel.
